Inclusive EdukSine: Indie Films with Filipino Sign Language

EdukSine is excited to share a major achievement with its upcoming event, “Inclusive EdukSine: Indie Films with Filipino Sign Language.” This special event marks the first time that Filipino Sign Language (FSL) will be integrated in local independent films, setting a new standard for inclusivity and accessibility in Philippine cinema. The film screenings are set to happen at UPFI Film Center in UP Diliman on April 12, 13, 19, & 20, 2024. “Inclusive EdukSine” celebrates the power of storytelling while promoting diversity and inclusivity. By incorporating FSL interpreters, EdukSine ensures that its films are accessible to all community members.

Leading the FSL interpretation for the films is a talented team of three remarkable individuals:

The event will feature a curated selection of local independent films, offering unique perspectives on Filipino culture and society. From compelling dramas to heartwarming comedies, each film provides a special glimpse into Filipino life.
