From 70 applicants down to the Top 5

The journey of EdukSine and its team to leading social transformation involves ensuring that the enterprise is equipped to sustainably be in service of the Filipino nation. With this, StartUp QC presented a one-of-a-kind opportunity of helping EdukSine maximize its potential. The program helped furnish the first cohort of startups through close mentorship and provision of networking opportunities.

A passionate team sharing an advocacy, coupled with inventive proactivity, garners outstanding results.

On August 11, 2023 at Luxent Hotel, StartUp QC’s Demo Day took place in culmination of the finalists’ growth and innovation in the span of the incubation program, where they pitched their businesses to an audience of key stakeholders.

The first cohort consists of Bamboo Impact Lab, EdukSine, Indigo Research, ITOOH Homestyle, and Wika. These startups were recognized to have extraordinary potential that can drive home the title of Innovation and Startup Capital of the Philippines to Quezon City.

EdukSine’s Founder and CEO, Ms. Karen Jane Salutan, presented an impactful pitch of the startup’s mission, vision, and services. EdukSine takes pride in hosting a total of 131 digital block screenings with 275,000 views as a highlight of the year 2022.

Mayor Joy Belmonte also noted the anticipated role of EdukSine in enriching the proud creativity and heritage of the city:

EdukSine will be very instrumental in Quezon City’s quest to be the UNESCO Creative Cities Awardee for 2025. That’s the roadmap. EdukSine, you better help us!
